This Year Don't Just Buy Books . . .

. . . buy my friend's books. This book is by my friend Barrie Summy. It's middle-grade book that must have been written with one of my nieces exactly in mind. (How did you do that, Barrie? I didn't even know you then!) I can't wait to hear what my niece thinks of it. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait until after Christmas.
Here's the blurb:
I bet you know some nine-to-twelve year old who would just love this book. And there's no chance they would have read it already because it just come out today!! You can purchase I So Don't Do Mysteries at Amazon.com or your local bookstore.A girl. A guy. A ghost. A heist. Yikes! Meet reluctant sleuth Sherry Holmes Baldwin!Sherry (short for Sherlock) wants more mall time, less homework and a certain cute boy. Instead, she's recruited by her mother's ghost to prevent a rhino heist at San Diego's Wild Animal Park.
(You think my niece will notice if I read it first? Very carefully? Hmmmmm.)
