Gina vs. Helicobacter Pylori

It has been a struggle, not only to find time to blog, but to deal with the helicobacter pylori I mentioned in my last post. In case you are wondering, HBP are nasty little bacteria that live in one's tummy and those environs and can cause ulcers and even stomach cancer. Or sometimes they don't do anything noticeable at all.

It turns out I have them. And yes, they have been annoying me.

So, I have been put on The Treatment. Let me just say it's kicking my butt. I rarely take antibiotics and maybe that's why. Or maybe it's just because it's a really potent cocktail (take that you little HBP buggers). I'm happy to report that I'm just two days away from being done with all this. Then it's time to build myself back up again because antibiotics do their own damage.

So . . . in between not knowing when we're actually moving (the escrow date keeps changing), not knowing where we're going (we need to find temporary housing in our new location ASAP), getting the WT all packed and driving him up to college, and preparing for my dad's 80th birthday, I have to say I've been somewhat preoccupied.

That also means I haven't been writing.

I've been talking to escrow officers, real estate agents, property managers, bank people, moving companies, and sometimes chatting with myself while waiting for something to land so that I can build a plan around it.

But enough about me. How are you?

Yucko! Is that what it actually looks like? Looks like something out of Men In Black. Hope it gets its slimy green ass kicked ASAP and you get back to feeling good.

Eeek! Feel better soon.

I'm recovering from the stress of moving (though still waiting for a buyer for the other house). No writing getting done yet, but I do see the light at the tunnel's end...

Tell me helicobacter pylori has been magnified a gazillion times. By the way, I tried to say that three times really fast. ;-)

Yes, homemade yogurt. And lots of it! Be well.

Oh, Gina, I need to ask you about ulcers! I suspect I might have one. (Just a little one!)

I hope all of your ducks get back in their rows ASAP.
