12 Things I've Learned Since Being Laid Off
1. The DH hasn't dusted in some parts of this place in ten (10) years. Really.
2. Dawn detergent gets oil out of fabric.
3. The Pooh wants to eat ALL DAY LONG, and would if we let him.
4. I've sure started a whole lot of things I never finished.
5. I have way too many books.
6. I remember how to eBay them.
7. Some books aren't going for as much as they used to.
8. A person doesn't need ten email addresses.
9. A person needs to wear something other than pajamas.
10. A person needs to get out of the house more than once every two or three days.
11. When a person does get out of the house (wearing something other than pajamas) they discover things like the building where I had my first apartment is now green instead of gray and flaky.
12. When a person gets out of the house a sunhat does not protect the top of the shoulders from the actual sun, so they should remember to use sunscreen. (Duh.)

LOL on 5-7.
I wear my pajamas all day at least once a week during summer vacay....it's relaxing. But I do notice, like last week, when I didn't get out at all, I went a little bonkers. You need a day out at least once a week.
Oh, ouch on #12. As for the rest, it sounds a lot like my maternity leave. Except I don't think I noticed the dust then.
Off to read your post on moving. Where do you want to go?
Mary--I'm discovering I need to get out more often than that...at least every two days or so. I seem to do best when I get out once a day and that does get me out of the PJs.
Lisa--I want to go somewhere cheaper that has less traffic. The DH wants to stay nearby in California. I'm hoping we can figure out how to do both.
I do go out every other day to get lunch, but I'm happy to be a hermit ;)
Still, I like a good morning or evening out to clear my head and energize me.
